Hello Flower Lovers,
The
Chelsea Flower Show is the most famous flower and landscape gardens show in the UK; perhaps in the world. It is attended by members of the British Royal Family and attracts flower lovers from across the globe. From extraordinary feats of engineering to once-in-a-lifetime surprise displays, the show offers the ‘Wow Factor’ in so many ways!
The first Chelsea Flower Show in 1862 was originally called the Royal Horticultural Society's Great Spring Show and was held at the RHS garden in Kensington. From humble beginnings, it is now on the bucket list of over 157,000 visitors each year and maybe in 2019, one of them could be you.
Did you know that almost 11,000 glasses of champagne are served, 8,000 glasses of Pimms, 28,000 cakes, pastries and cookies and 64,000 hot drinks?
