What's ATAS?
ATAS is an accreditation system administered by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) which has been in operation for over 60 years. Exclusively for Australian travel agents, attaining (and retaining) that accreditation is no walk in the park.
Travel agents seeking ATAS accreditation have to work through a challenging application process with strict criteria that ensures only the very best bear the ATAS symbol. They then have to conduct business in compliance with Australian Consumer Law and in accordance with the ATAS Charter & Code of Conduct.
