We hope you and your families are all well and getting back to some semblance of “normal” life. For us and your travel plans we are still a long way off reaching “normal”. You may have seen a little about the plight of travel agencies and the travel/tourism/hospitality industry as a whole in the media. I cannot sugar coat it, as it is a very difficult time for such businesses.
I have kept you up to date as to how we are managing along the way and now it is time to make a few more alterations in our business in order to keep going.
From the 1st of March, 2021 we will no longer have an office.
1/32 Jarrah Drive will have a new Tennant, an IT company I believe. With another year or more of closed borders we can no longer fund that expense.
We have been successfully working from home this past year and by continuing along this path, we can continue to assist you with refunds, credits, domestic travel and international holidays beyond 2021.
Our office number is still working, but these are the direct mobile numbers you can call:
We are also available to meet for a coffee (our shout) to discuss any travel plans. We can come to you where appropriate. No question is too small. We have been busy with domestic holidays and even some of our corporate customers have started to move around. The cruise market for 2022 and beyond is quite buoyant, so it is not all doom and gloom.
Our team can assist with ideas and make suggestions for you - both domestically now and later and beyond later of course. Keep scrolling down for a few great ideas to get you thinking and also click below to watch a fantastic video from one of our client's holidays this year flying out of Moorabbin on a small group fly and stay holiday. They were so impressed they booked another one upon their return. it is flying with Kirkhope airlines out of Moorabbin you can't get more local than that.
We have successfully helped get a few stranded Aussies back to our shores, reuniting families has been very rewarding work. Congratulations to my team and I know sincere thanks from those involved as it took many hours over many months to achieve.
I will continue to update you and again urge you to call should you have any queries or questions about anything.
Yours sincerely,
Karen Kenter and the team
Introducing APT's NEW Small Ship Itineraries
In Australia & New Zealand
Small ship expedition cruising is all about venturing further, seeing more sights, enjoying delicious local produce & wine and being a little pampered along the way. Now thanks to ATP you can enjoy all of the above on a brand new range of local itineraries which will have the same great inclusions as APT's ever-popular Kimberley cruises.
This is a holiday tailored to the ocean’s natural course, where the wind and currents dictate your voyage. It's a 16 night adventure aboard the unique sailing ship 'Golden Horizon' with only 140 cabins onboard, that will transport you Southbound in near silent bliss from Cairns to Sydney. Along the way you'll stop and savour the tropical delights of the Whitsundays, and enjoy a New Year's Eve to rememeber watching the fireworks off Surfer's Paradise.
Amid the vast and ancient landscape of Western Australia’s East Kimberley region sits the untamed natural beauty of El Questro. El Questro is a destination unlike any other and offers the freedom to explore one of Australia’s last true frontiers. From deep gorges and majestic mountains to thermal springs, mud and salt-flats, rainforests and cascading waterfalls everything the Kimberley has to offer is located across the property's 700,000 acres.
