Here, you are escorted by coach to Cheriton, where you board the shuttle to Calais.

Settle into your comfortable private cabin before enjoying a sumptuous dinner in one of the magnificent dining cars. Later, you may wish to linger in Bar Car ‘3674’, listening to the resident pianist play the baby grand and chatting to fellow passengers before retiring.

Your steward serves Continental breakfast in your cabin as you gaze at the passing Swiss mountain scenery and picturesque lakes of the Gotthard route. Sit down to a sumptuous three-course lunch in one of the beautiful dining cars and gaze at the changing scenery as we course through the Italian Dolomites and, after Innsbruck, the picturesque Arlberg route.
 
During a relaxing afternoon, take time to relax before enjoying indulgent pastries in your cabin, served by your steward. As evening falls, stroll along to the convivial Bar Car ‘3674’ for a refreshing aperitif. Dinner is a lavish four-course feast, prepared on board by the expert team of chefs. Afterwards, you may wish to return to the bar, where the resident pianist is playing the baby grand. Order a liqueur and mingle with your fellow passengers before retiring to your cabin, now transformed into a cosy bedroom.

Day Two

Your steward serves Continental breakfast in your cabin before the train pulls into Paris. Feel free to stretch your legs on the platform while we pause to pick up new passengers and supplies. As we continue onwards towards the Channel ports, enjoy a delicious brunch in one of the dining cars. At Calais Ville Station, board a private coach to the shuttle terminal at Coquelles before travelling onward through the Channel Tunnel. Uniformed hosts will look after you throughout the journey.

At Folkestone, you join the art deco British Pullman, A Belmond Train, England, sister train of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train, Europe for the journey to London. Indulge in a traditional English afternoon tea, accompanied by a glass of sparkling English rosé, as the train courses through the verdant Kent countryside.
