South American Tours have decided to waive the fees for cancellations realized until 30 days prior to the date of arrival. This applies to new bookings made until February 28th 2022 and is valid for the travel period until June 30th 2022.

Kindly note that certain products and services  may have more restrictive cancellation fees.

If you belong to any of the following, you will not need to quarantine in Greece: Nationals and permanent residents of member states of the European Union & Schengen Area (including their spouses or partners with which they reside and their minor children).

Additionally, permanent residents of the following countries do not need to quarantine: Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, Singapore, Rwanda, Israel, the Russian Federation, Serbia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Belarus, Bahrain, Qatar, China, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Montenegro, Albania, Japan, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Jordan, Moldova, Brunei and Kosovo.

In order to prove your place of residence, third-country nationals may present their residence permit, work permit, identity card, driving license or other documents, provided that the place of residence is stated. In spite of being exempt from the entry ban, the majority of travellers to Greece will need to comply with some requirements, including completing the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) electronically.

Travellers should then carry with them the PLF confirmation they receive in their email and show it to the border police upon arrival in Greece.
Travellers should also be able to present one of the following to the border police:
  • EU Digital COVID-19 certificate
  • Proof of vaccination, with the last dose having been administered at least 14 days before. The certificate should be issued by a public authority and is accepted in any of the following languages: Greek, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian.
  • Negative COVID-19 test results of a PCR test (performed within the last 72 hours) or a rapid test (performed within the last 48 hours)
  • Certificate of recovery from COVID-19, within the last 180 days, but no later than 30 days before they arrive in Greece
These requirements apply to travellers aged 12 and older. All travellers will have to undergo rapid COVID-19 testing as soon as they arrive in Greece. In cases when the result is positive, travellers will have to undergo a PCR test as well.

All arrivals to Turkey must submit a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure unless they have a certificate showing they were vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival. Visitors from some countries may also be able to show proof of a negative rapid antigen test. All passengers must complete a Turkey Entry Form at least 72 hours before departure. Paper or mobile copies can be shown on arrival.

If Covid-19 specifically impacts your plans near to the departure date, for example, if you or someone in your party tests positive or has to self-isolate or if restrictions are imposed in your local area meaning you are not permitted to travel for the start of your trip, contact us immediately and we will do our best to rearrange your trip for you for travel up to 31st October 2022.
We may have to charge for certain services as per our terms and conditions due to cancellation by you at short notice and will make you fully aware of this but we will do our best to minimise such charges in co-operation with our suppliers.

When entering Cuba a negative PCR-test result no older than 72 hours should be brought along from the country of residency. Once arrived at the airport in Cuba, another PCR test will be taken, of which the travellers will have to await the result in their booked hotel. This will take approximately 24 to 48 hours. Once the negative test results have been received, tourists can freely travel within the island.
 
  
In India, different regions/provinces have different rules. However, currently, we are offering a 100% cancellation fees waiver for any booking which may be cancelled for any reason before 30 days of travel. If the tour gets cancelled due to any lockdown in the local area there will be a full refund or full adjustment with the next tour.

This will be valid till 31st March 2022. After that, we will come up with further updates. The Indian government has offered free tourist visas for the first 500,000 tourists coming
